FLASH RUNNING BELT
DESIGN OVERVIEW
How could we harness the material properties of Tyvek to design a running belt that helps runners with their hydration needs, storage solutions, and increased visibility at night?
The Luminite Flash Belt utilizes Tyvek material innovation to help runners go the extra mile. Through a process of heat pressed sheets of white and yellow colored Tyvek, a new “Flash” Tyvek was created. This new “Flash” Tyvek was used for the front pouch and rear water bottle holders for its improved rigidity and unique aesthetic appeal. The G-hook closure with glow-in-the-dark webbing, reflective shock cord, trims, and logo allows for adjustable fit and increased visibility even at night.
