How could we design a Paralympic shot put glove for F53 classification that is more durable and ergonomic, to improve athlete grip, stability and traction when throwing?

Inspired by the Paris 2024 Paralympics, the Endurant glove was created to aid shot put throwers specifically in the F53 classification. Athletes in the F53 classification experience high degree of mobility impairment in their trunk and legs. The Endurant shot put glove is designed to improve athlete grip and stability to the wheelchair seat post while throwing. My glove design improved grip strength and traction with its directional rubber palm when compared to market competitors that had an open palm. I collaborated with a Paralympic gold medalist receiving final athlete feedback on the glove design.
